FRANKFORT – Gatewood Galbraith, an independent candidate for governor in the 2011 contest, raised $21,426 in the last three months for his campaign.
The Kentucky Registry of Election Finance reported Friday that Galbraith, a Lexington attorney who has run unsuccessfully for governor four times, also spent $19,559 and reported $13,300 in debts and obligations for the quarter.
Galbraith’s campaign had an ending balance of $1,866.
Galbraith is running with Dea Riley, a political consultant in Frankfort who has managed several campaigns in the state.
Galbraith, 62, said earlier this year he believes they can raise $1 million and win the race.
