Raleigh, N.C. – Voters across the country are unhappy with both the Democrats and
Republicans in Congress right now. and that’s opening the door for independent
candidates to possibly have some success in 2010.
40% of registered voters say they would vote Democratic for Congress if the election was held today, with 29% preferring the Republicans and 22% saying their support would go to an independent or third party candidate. Asked to choose just between the two major parties the Democrats lead 48-40.
