Committee Assignment in the KY House of Represenatives

Sources are reporting that Rep. Rick Rank of Bedford could be in line for House A&R Chair if Rep. Tommie Thompson of Davies County (WKY) prefers to be Chair of Banking and Insurance. Rep. Robin Webb wants Speaker Stumbo to keep current A&R Chair Moberly of Richmond but would be interested in the job. Probably her Eastern Kentucky roots would prevent this as three of the House leadership jobs are in the hands of Eastern Kentucky Representatives. Moberly expects that he will be replaced. Chair of A&R is considered the sixth most important job in the house after the five leadership positions.   Charles Miller may become the Chair of the Education Committee...Tom Burch keeps his position with the Health Committee, ted
