"Kentucky'sthirdCongressionalDistrictisrepresentedbyatruepublicservant,whoisanextraordinaryandeffectivevoiceinCongress,especiallyonbehalfofthepeopleofLouisville,”saidSpeakeroftheHouse,NancyPelosi. “Hehasproventobeatirelessadvocateforthevaluesandprioritiesofallhisconstituents.IcongratulateCongressmanYarmuthandcommendhimforhisprincipledleadershiponbehalfofournewDemocraticMembers.”

“In2007,thisclasscametoWashingtontobetteradvocateforthevaluesofourcommunitiesandchangethedirectionofthecountry,andIamhonoredtoleadtheclassin2008,”CongressmanYarmuthsaid. “Lastyear,weworkedtoendthecultureofcorruptioninWashingtonandrestoredchecksandbalancestothesystem. Now,inoursecondyear,weintendtocontinuethatmomentum,strengtheningAmericaandrestoringfaithinthefuture.”
